1. Disk Cleaner
Dust and fingerprints are your disks enemy. Your disks need to be clean to ensure they don't skip. Keep disk wipes, cleaning fluid, and a silk cloth on hand.
2. CD Storage Bag
Your disks need to be kept in a dry place that's clean and free from dust. You can use cases, bags, or boxes. It's entirely up to you. There are some great cases on the market so shop around.
3. Head Cleaners
Inside your player is a laser head that gets dirty from use over time. This can cause your disks to jump so to avoid this you need to clean the heads regularly. Once a week is a good schedule. It also pays to have a kit handy for those emergencies that might arise.
4. Flashlight
A flashlight can land up being your most important tool when you're fiddling on the back of the equipment trying to hook up a lead or fix a wire.
Screwdriver
You need to have one of those screwdrivers that has the interchangeable head. That way you'll have access to ever head with just a flick of the lever.
5. Fuses
You should always have a good supply of spare fuses on hand. These tend to go at the most inopportune time so be prepared. It doesn't hurt to toss in a few screws, nuts, and bolts too.
6. Electric Tape
Good for many fixes from taping up that loose lead to tidying up the cables to keep things neat and tidy. Gaffa tape is also handy to have on hand.
7. Extension Cords
It never fails the plug is on the wrong side of the room so you need an extension or the extension card you've got decides to quit, so it's always a good idea to have a couple of extra extension cords handy.
8. Leads

Of course you need the music but you also need the words to all those songs so you'll want to buy the karaoke song books. They work best placed into a binder where pages are easy to flip.
